When I was a child, my friend celebrated her 8th birthday. At least i think she was 8. Anyway, her mother made these cute little peach cookies, that I’ve fallen in love with. I always wanted a good recipe for them, but never got the right one. At least until now.

Preheat the oven to 425 F. Combine butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, add milk, 2+1/4 cups flour, and 2 tsp baking powder and mix well. Let it rest for approximately 2 hours, then add 2+1/4 flour and 2 tsp baking powder again. Pipe the dough into little heaps. Bake for about 10 minutes, so they are slightly brownish in color. Hollow the baked cookies and set aside. Put the crumbs you got from the cookies in a medium bowl. Add walnuts, rum, cocoa and sugar and mix together. With this mixture fill each cookie and fit two and two together. This way you get cute little balls. Soak each ball into strawberry or any other fruit syrup and roll in crystal sugar.
