An easy and quick way to please your guests or family. You can’t miss with this very simple recipe for classic Panna Cotta.
Mix the gelatin with cold water and set aside for about 10 minutes. Heat milk and heavy cream with sugar in a saucepan over low temperature. Just before it starts to boil, and when the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Oil eight custard cups or Panna Cotta models. Add the gelatin into Panna Cotta mixture and stir well, until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Pour the Panna Cotta mixture into the prepared models, and refrigerate them for 2-4 hours.
Turn each Panna Cotta out onto a serving plate, and garnish with chocolate or fruit syrup.
