Gnocchi

I’m about to show you a really easy way to make delicious home made gnocchi, so you’ll never have to buy them again!

Ingredients:

  • flour for the work surface
  • pinch of salt

Method:

Refrigerate potato dough for about 2 hours. Place it on a slightly floured work surface and cut it into 4 parts. Roll each part into a snake about 3/4 inch in diameter. Cut each one into smaller pieces; about 1 inch long. Continue, until all the dough has been cut.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and slowly drop in the gnocchi. It’s easier if you cook gnocchi in two rounds. Boil them, and when they begin to rise on the top, cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove gnocchi with a skimmer and place them on a serving plate, that you previously heated. Serve hot, with desired sauce.
